Everybody knows combat jets like the Starfighter or the Falcon. Here are some of the most impressive photos of these powerful and elegant aircraft.

 

 

Suchoi 27 family

 

The Su 27 is a large fighter bomber, which is extremely agile. From it's flight testers is the "cobra" a figure which makes the fighter stop immediately and brings it into the back of it's opponent. Since it's first model, the Su 27 type has been expanded to a family of fighters, bombers, navy combat aircraft, etc. The image shows a Su 30.

BAe Harrier

 

The Harrier, developed by Hawker Siddeley, has got an engine that can control the direction of its jet. So the Harrier is able to take off and land vertically, stop in mid-air, just like a helicopter. In fast flight it is like a normal subsonic fighter bomber.
