The Guardian was derived from the Falcon 20 bizzJet
on request of the US Coast Guard which was looking
for a derivate to the aged Grumman Albatros sea
patrol aircraft. The Guardians may be fitted with
additional long range radar systems and other

The A300 was the first model of Airbus Industries, a
group of european aircraft manufacturers. It's goal
was to bring a european answer to Boeing and McDD to
the international airliner market. The A300-600 as the
latest model of this line is equipped with a 100%
digital control system (fly-by-wire). Developed for
the transport of oversized cargos like parts of the
Airbus production line ready for assembly. The Beluga
is based on the A 300-600 freighter. The cockpit has
been lowered to get a platform for easier loading.

The AN 38 is a development of the smaller An

transport aircraft. Since it is optionally
fitted with western engines and avionics, it
is targeted on the world market.

The C 27 J is a joint-venture of Alenia and
Lockheed Martin. It is based on the FIAT G
222 transport, but with engines and avionics
redesigned, "Herculized". So, the engine
systems and avionics spare parts can be
exchanged with the Hercules J models that are
in use world wide to minimize maintenance and
logistics costs and standardize training of
crews.
